Over the past 54 years, Harold Keller of Lancaster, PA has been the auctioneer for 4-H's annual Strawberry Roundup with the Lancaster Rotary Club at the Farm and Home Center in Lancaster, PA.

This year's Division 3 champion was Amanda Ellenberger. Her quart was bought by Harold for $500. This was her last year competing as she is attending college in the fall.

Students compete by not only producing strawberries, but also by completing paperwork, tracking hours worked, expenses and other aspects of business. The Division 1 students compete by completing their required paperwork and tending to the plants as the plants do not grow berries the first year. After competing in first year, the students enter into Division 2 as a first year berry grower. A grower becomes a Division 3 grower after having competed as a Division 1 and Division 2 grower.

Twice, over the years Harold has sold the champion berries for $600 a quart. Some records are meant to not be broken.
