This property is a Historic Site with Prince George's County Historic Preservation Commission. 

What is a Historic Site?
The Prince George’s County Historic Preservation Ordinance (County Code Subtitle 29) defines a Historic Site as: “Any individual historic resource that is significant and contributes to historical, architectural, archaeological, or cultural values...” Historic Sites are either designated through a County Master Plan (such as the Historic Sites and Districts Plan), a County Sector Plan, or at the request of the property owner.
Historic Sites are regulated by the County’s Historic Preservation Ordinance (Subtitle 29).

How does this affect the property owner?
Owners of Historic Sites must apply for and receive approval from the County Historic Preservation Commission for certain work,
additions and alterations that affect the exterior of their property. Owners of Historic Sites may be eligible for financial incentives in the form of property tax credits or for project funds through the County’s Historic Property Grant Program.

Terms of the auction: Winning bidder will pay $20,000 down payment on day of sale. Settle on or before July 31, 2018. There is a 5% buyer's premium paid by the buyer on the winning bid. The winning bid plus the 5% buyer's premium shall comprise the total purchase price. The real estate transfer taxes shall be calculated on the total purchase price. Buyer pays all transfer taxes.
